Welcome To Primrose Hill Nursery
Beginning nursery is an important time in your child’s life and can be a big change for the whole family. We at Primrose Hill Nursery are committed to providing a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment for children. We encourage them to learn through well planned play activities to create a positive environment that your child enjoys whether that’s once or twice a week, or every day. The heart of our nursery is the staff, most of whom have been with us for many years and are all highly qualified, with a wealth of expertise, knowledge and experience; most are also mums, so they have complete understanding and empathy with regard to the difficulties that parents and children may encounter, especially with regard to the issues around separating from the parent/carer.
We offer everything that you would expect from a registered Ofsted Nursery and more, with a child to carer ration that is higher than government guidelines, enabling staff to give every child the full attention that they require. This allows our team, through our Key Person system, to build a very trusting relationship with your child, which in turn gives you as parents, peace of mind that your child is in the best hands. Don’t just take our word for it, the latest Ofsted report stated:
Statements from our latest Ofsted inspection: –
“The manager and staff know children well. They are aware of their individual needs and develop strategies to extend their learning and to provide vibrant experiences linked to interests.”
“Relationships are warm, friendly and affectionate. Staff help new children to feel safe as they settle into nursery life”.
“Children have wonderful opportunities to develop social and physical skills in outdoor areas.”
“Staff support all children, including those with additional needs or those who speak English as an additional language, to make good progress. Children learn self-regulation as they develop through warm and responsive care from staff.”
